You are My Sunshine, My only Sunshine ...

This evening, after a terribly long day of classes and being tired from not getting enough sleep last night, I have a horrible conversation with Best Buy Credit Card Customer Service. Let me just say that I hate credit cards and am not very fond of the customer service department at Best Buy either. So, long story short, the mean credit card people had me in tears on the phone and Raegan happened to walk in on the end of our conversation. Just as I'm hanging up the phone, Raegan realizes that I have tears streaming down my face, and she rushes over to me, wipes a tear off my cheek and asks, "Why do you have tears all over the place?" I tell her that the mean lady on the phone made my cry and she tells me she'll be right back. She comes back a minute later with a huge grin on her face and a piece of toilet paper in her hand. She says, "I got you a kleenex to wipe your tears!" I'm getting chocked up again just writing this because she is just so darn precious to me. I start crying again because now she's made me happy but she thinks they are still sad tears. So she gives me a big hug and kiss and goes to get more stuff to try to cheer me up. She comes back with her favorite stuffed animals, a juice box, and a thing of yogurt ... all to try to make me feel better! How sweet is she? Then she tells me she loves me and asks me if she cheered me up! Are you kidding me?!!??? Of course!! Seriously, does it get any better than that?

Awww! Such a cute story! It even made me a little misty :( Good old Raegan. She's such a cutie! :) I hate the Circuit City service people so don't feel too bad. They all suck! Haha...miss you!!! :(

Bless her heart! I'm in tears here! Sorry you had a rough day, but what a great way to be cheered up! It's obvious that you have done the same for her, since she knew exactly what to bring you to make you smile...at least she thought it was the stuff...if she just knew it only needed to be her precious hugs and kisses! Hope you have a better week!

Oh gosh.. what a sweetheart!!! I love the piece of toilet paper.. she is so thoughtful. =) LOVE seeing her grow older and become thoughtful. =) You've done well in raising her, Christy. Don't ever doubt it!!
