Hike at Happy Hallow
Today Raegan and Brian and I had breakfast at Bob Evans and then went to the 12 o'clock showing of Ice Age: The Meltdown. That was a really cute movie and I think Raegan liked it a lot. Then afterwards, Brian had to work and I needed to get back so I could finish watching the moive The Insider for my health class. (I thought that was a really good movie and I would recommend it to anyone.) Raegan got awfully bored while I was watching the movie which is obvious from the way she was hanging upside down on the couch. At one point she called from her room, "Mommy!?!?! It's a beautiful day to go to the park! Can we go after you get done watching your movie??!!!???" How could I resist that? So, of course, I said yes. So when the movie was over, Raegan and I went to Happy Hallow Park. I thought we were just going to go there so she could play on the playground but Raegan said she wanted to go on a hunt. I think she meant "hike" but whatever. I knew what she meant, so we braved the trails together at Happy Hollow.
It was a lot of fun walking through the woods with her although we had a couple of close calls when we went up too steep of a hill. It was hard getting up it and even harder getting back down. But we managed. Raegan was pretty tired by the time we got done so she took a little break.
Then she was reenergerized enough to go run and play hard on the playground for another hour or so.
What a fun couple of days you two have had! I loved the play date blog and the pics were adorable. Then these today looked like you had so much fun! What a cool place to go!!! It must have been a bit warmer there today than here at home. It was sunny but quite chilly...so ready for those park days. What a nice reward for Raegan for being patient while you did your homework. Is that a new couch she is upside down on? It looks like a different one. Can't wait to see your apartment finished! Send pics! Also, give Raegan a big hug for me and tell her she looks so happy in these pictures!

Sounds like a blast. Hiking sounds like fun...can't wait til it is a little warmer up hear. Glad to hear all is well.

You two are too cute! Haha. And I totally want to see Ice Age, so I'm glad you thought it was good haha. Plus, you two are brave. When I was looking for fossils for EAS, I completely tripped down one of those small hills and almost ate it lol. Could have been dangerous. See ya tomorrow! Joanna

we love going to HH park.. that red thing she's climbing on, totally freaks me out though!

i know ... i was freaking out when she was on it. last year she wanted me to help her, but this year she was like, "no, i can do it on my own." she's growing up way too fast!!
