Christmas Eve

"Today was a good day." That was what Raegan said as we were leaving aunt Mary and uncle Dave's house this evening. We (Raegan and I) spent the day with mom and Mike in Walkerton and had Christmas (eve) dinner with Mike's family. I always love going there for holidays. Mike has a great family and even though he is my "step" dad, his family has always treated Raegan and I just like we've always been part of their family. Its really nice. I love being with family, so having them is awesome. While we were there we played a gift exchange game where you had to role doubles with a pair of dice in order to win a gift. Once all the gifts were gone, we played for five more minutes only this time when you rolled doubles you got to steal a gift from someone else. I only rolled doubles about 5 times. Thats not much compared to how many times everyone else rolled doubles. Even though I didn't win much, I still had fun. Raegan had a blast playing with all the kids and dressing up like a ballerina. For a while there were a couple of other girls there for her to play with (Makayla and Sailor) but when they left, Raegan still had fun playing with the boys. She played catch with Jeff for a long time out in the living room. Dinner was really good also. We had ham, deviled eggs (Raegan's favorite kind of eggs), greenbean casserole (which I absolutely love), and baked beans (made by Uncle Bill so of course they were delizioso - he makes them spicy just the way I like them!) Looking back on the day, I'd have to say Raegan was right on the nose ... today was a good day!
